Great place to experience the riad-way of exploring Marrakech; in the viscinity of the main tourist attraction square with the snake charmers and performers. The place is very cosy and the staff very helpful. Very neat and well maintained - Eco friendly as well.
Getting there is a little tricky ; first timers should call and ask for detailed directions to get there. While not the hotel's fault, cabbies and 'helpful' locals are out to make a quick buck. In response to queries or directions, they will pretend to help you by walking you there and then demand a price. A young lad walked barely 200 meters to 'help' me and then asked for 50 Dirhams. What followed was a long argument, finally settled by the hotel staff for less than half the price of this 'help'.

We had a very pleasant stay for our first time in Morocco. The owner Olivier was very helpful even though we only spoke for a few minutes. It really helps if you are French speaking. Overall a very pleasant stay and a great location.
However the acting manager was very poor and tried to swindle us out of money to use the laundry ! He tried to charge us £10 to iron our own clothes. It must be noted that this was in the absence of the owner Olivier.

Very clean rooms, excellent value, superb location. I loved this place! Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and Wi-Fi in lobby.
No key for front door. You have to knock for entry to property. Late at night, entry can be an issue if owner/staff are resting.

the room was reasonably large and beautifully designed had a cosy decor. location: the hotel was near to jemaa el fna square, the souqs and the markets and other touristic areas. stopped by cafe des epices to get some coffee and treats, it's within short walking distance to the venue, recommend.

Holiday base for discovering Marrakesh. Lovely, tastefully decorated rooms overlooking courtyard. A safe box, a sofa bed, and central heating where nice.

- The very hospitable and considerate owner - Cozy atmosphere - Secluded inner courtyard with a small swimming pool and much greenery - Very friendly stuff - Delicious breakfast - Good location in the center of the Medina - Ideal for those who want to enjoy the real spirit of Marrakesh
- The walls seem to be too thin for young couples :)

It's a very nice riad in the hearth of the medina and the souks ( take a taxi to a gate and then for 20 mad / 2 Euros a " luggageboy to the riad ). You can relax after shopping in the souks in that peacefull and romantic place. The stuff is very kind and helpfull - the atmosphere is rather familiar, great! Try the excellent dinner!

I had a simply sensational stay at Riad Aloes. The owner, Olivier, was absolutely charming and made sure we had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, close to all the sights of the Medina. The rooms were uniquely beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The plunge pool was a great addition, especially with the jacuzzi button. The breakfast on the terrace was superb, especially when served by the lovely Aida. The lunch at the Riad was also delicious and fantastic value. Olivier even provided excellent eating recommendations. I highly recommend this hotel.
